The base is a proportioned, 4 1/2" X 2 1/2" X 53", maple beam resting on the floor, reminiscent in style of the world famous furniture designer, George Nakashima. The verticals supporting the top are also noteworthy figured maple. The top is correctly finished with a durable acrylic surface that adds years of life to your table and enhances the subtle patina of this stand alone table.
